Village History
Two Mile Borris is a picturesque village situated in County Tipperary, Ireland. With a population of around 600 people, the village is renowned for its natural beauty, rich history, and friendly community. The village has a range of amenities including a primary school, community center, church, pubs, and local shops. The iconic Devil's Bit Mountain, a popular hiking destination, is located nearby. Two Mile Borris is also home to a number of historical landmarks such as the 12th-century Norman castle and St. James Church and the monastic ruins of Liathmore from sometime in the 7th century.
